2011-2012 School Year Schedule

August- Our first potluck of the school year will be on Wednesday, August 24th from 4:30-6:30pm at the picnic tables near the play ground at Peninsula Park on Rosa Parks and Albina.

September- Our parent/child orientation meeting will be on Tuesday, September 6th. The first day of school is Wednesday, September 7th, and our Harvest party will be on Friday, September 34th.

October- School will be out on Friday, October 14th for a professional development/Statewide In-service day.

November- We will be closed Friday, November 11th for Veterans Day.  School is closed for parent-teacher conferences on Monday, November 21st, Tuesday, November 22nd, and Wednesday, November 23rd.  Thanksgiving break is Thursday, the 24th and Friday, the 25th.

December- We will have a winter solstice party: time, date and place to be announced. Winter holiday will be Monday, December 19th through Monday, January 2nd.

January- School will be out Monday, January 16th in honor of Martin Luther King Day.

February- No school Friday, February 3rd for a planning day. School will be out Monday, February 20th for Presidents Day.

March- Spring break will be Monday, March 26th through Friday, March 30th.

April- No School Friday, April 13th for a teacher planning day.

May- Our May Day Party will be on Friday, April 27th. We will be closed Monday, May 28th for Memorial Day.

June- The last day of school will be Wednesday, June13th. Our graduation party & ice cream social will be on Friday, June 15th at 5:30 pm. Summer break is June 18th – July 6th.

July- The modified 6 week summer program begins the week of July 9th days offered to be announce.

August- Summer break begins August 20th through Labor Day weekend in September.
